Entering into the year of 2003, the City of Houston has finally placed its campaign finance reports online.  Whoo Hoo! that's worth a double thumbs up.  Actually the cheerful young lady is the image the city has chosen as the front of its searchable database.  Don't know if she was clip art or if she was actually paid to look so.. um... chipper!  Anyway, I'm sure Matt over at the Chron is thrilled, so I'm looking foward to his long, thorough, google-docs friendly story soon... unless City Council is late again!
