Passing wind...

WindturbinesProof you can never figure out what gets City Council's goat.  I've sat through countless meetings where the expenditure of say, $26 K on some city project (a very small drop in a very large bucket) would be debated for several hours.  And then there is the city's plan to get involved in wind power.  The project is a $628 million dollar deal, and it passes without a peep from a council that usually likes to hear itself talk!  Sure, let's not discuss $628 million, let's talk about $50 grand here and there instead.  Makes sense to me.

Post this challenge to the 14 Council members and Mayor to respond to the Question you pose in your blog.

Why and how it is that this deal "sailed" through without so much as a moment of debate.

Who of all the elected "Weasels" stood up, sat down but so much as didn't turn their mike on to here themselves speak.

This stinks of more than a simple "passing wind".

You post it. I'll fax it to their personal fax machines to let them know they are hung out and I/We are awaiting a response with "baited breath."

Ever count council votes? I will send another blog response with the names of each Council member who "MIGHT" respond to save some political flesh and a husband or wife's political future.

Good job Miya. Everyone else is asleep at the wheel or eating at the trough.

No one will respond be cause they already voted.

The following will debate in their mind responding but won't.

Toni Lawrence
Adrian Garcia
Melissa Noriega
Michael Berry
Sue Lovell
Ann Clutterbuck
Pam Holm

ABSOLUTELY NOT RESPONDING WILL BE:

Bill White
Carol Alvarado
Peter Brown
Jarvis Johnson
Addie Wiseman
M.J. Kahn

Are you a Handicapping expert? $50.00 says I'm right no response to your blog even after I email the original to thei personal faxes.

This stinks to high heaven. Give them 7 days to respond then post the date of this challenge.
