Expect a high rise delay

Last night, while he was shaking hands and taking pictures with supporters, I asked Mayor Bill White about the controversial Ashby High Rise Ordinance.  You know, the high rise residential building ordinance aimed squarely at the proposed development along Bissonnet.  He confirmed that unless something drastic changes, he'll ask for a 90 delay.  This is a major blow to the folks in the civic clubs near the proposed high rise.  They REALLY wanted the ordinance to pass TODAY.  But now, it looks like it won't happen.  Of course, anything can happen at city council, but....
