Jones turns City Hall into Pink Palace

Joandajones Okay, maybe not quite a palace... However, everyone knew City Hall wouldn't be the same Pink1when former-track-star-survivor-contestant-lawyer became an elected official.  Jolanda  Jones certainly enjoys meeting those expectations.  Her successful council campaign was enrobed in pink.  So, Jones figured, why not keep it going.  Instead of the normal utilitarian beige that dominate elected offices, Jones has taken the time to paint her office a startling, Pepto-Bismol pink.  As someone who watches Pink2 a little too much HGTV, I have to say that the paint job would make the cable channel proud.  Not just a blanket paint job, solid pink walls are interspersed with milder striped numbers.

However,Pink3 I guess not every council staffer/member really appreciated me hanging out near council offices taking the photos (which I called Jones and asked before taking the photos.)  Though  most council staffers are very friendly (and generally tend to just ignore me), someone apparently called the city hall police and made it clear they didn't want me there.  I don't know if some thought I would dig up some super-secret City Council scoop or what.  Lighten up! This was the in-depth work I was doing.  Oh, and I did get some paper work from Toni Lawrence's office about the High Density ordinance in the previous post.

Hope it wasn't Lead-based paint.

Thanks for giving us the inside scoop on the exact tone of pink used. Toni has a great sense of style. Now, about the furniture....
