Siegler enters DA race
Update: Rosenthal is now saying that he's "mulling over" filing for the office he just withdrew from! He's expected to make a decision tomorrow. Nope, we are not making this stuff up!

Surrounded by 30 Assistant District Attorneys and a few family members, ADA Kelly Siegler entered into the race for District Attorney. She said she's not a politician, and there will be bumps, but she believes she's the best candidate. We'll see! Should be interesting.
Surely Siegler mentioned to Rosenthal that she was going to run, that's something you wouldn't do without telling your boss. I see Rosenthal's decision to mull getting back in the race a vote of NO CONFIDENCE from him on Kelly Siegler's skills to run that office. Or what other dynamics are going on there - how much did other ADA's, including Siegler know about the affair and the general attitude revealed in the other emails exposed? Are they all tainted?
