« Happy pre Halloween! | Main | Spotted at a Ft. Bend Co early voting location »

October 27, 2008

8 Days

Eight Days.

That's it.  The historic election is a week away.  We here at ABC 13 will try to be everywhere on election night, my colleague Tom Abrahams will be in Chicago, and I will be in Arizona covering John McCain.

Locally,it will be interesting to see if Reps. John Culberson and Nick Lampson can hold on to their seats.

Of course, we're also paying attention to see if Harris County will "go blue."  As of Sunday, 387,862 have either voted in person or by mail.  It is a startling number.

Let me know if you plan to head to Arizona or Illinois!

I have been a viewer of ABC13 since moving to Houston 14 years ago. I cannot believe the poor way the election news is being delivered. On the 6pm broadcast we were told McCain had a 21 point lead over Obama. I find this very misleading since we were not told which poll and what state. I would expect more truthful information from your service. I guest it is time to block your station as I have the other misleading newscast. Back to CNN...local news is not honest...
