Well of course it is! All the doubters have officially shut their mouths! Thank you Georgie W. for screwing up so bad the past 8 years to help make this possible! Thank you Palin for simply being yourself to further add to the Republican downfall! BARACK OBAMA IS THE 44TH PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!!!
I wonder why it is that all of America's enemies are rejoicing this morning!
Now that we are living in the United Socialist States of America people will find out in a hurry why citizens of other socialist states (E. Germany, Cuba, China) are so anxious to get OUT!
This is a bad day's work. He is not "my" president.

Obama was not my choice either and I am scared to think what's about to happen in the next four years. How can people ignore his socialists views, the fact that he does not pledge allegiance to our country's flag, that he wants to cut funding for our military and create a civilian military?? I really thought America was smarter than this. Sadly, I think people will realize too late that they made the wrong decision.
Now that the campaigns are over, folks like Cenafan and Cindy will have plenty of time to, you know, research the actual facts behind the lies and smears served up as red meat by conspiracy theorists and fanatic conservatives.
d,
I'm curious...what are those actual facts you speak of and why exactly do you think Obama is qualified to be president? I've done my fair share of research on both McCain and Obama, looking at where they stand on all issues and what they believe in. What Obama stands for is not what I believe in. Can't say it any plainer. McCain has and always will be the more qualified leader and clearly has the experience needed. Obama does not. Period.
8 years ago, republicans voted in a 'qualified' candidate.....Democrats were told to suck it up and unify to bring our country together when he was voted in by the majorithy. Its the american way right? Well we did, he even got a second chance! Well we all see how well that worked out! We tried it the republican way! It didn't work OBVIOUSLY! It is time for CHANGE! Well again the Americans have spoken, and now we say 'suck it up, let's unify our nation to bring our country together. Move on and work with your state representatives and local governments to make sure your families needs are represented. This is the land of opportunity for EVERYONE.
For 8 years, every single thing that has been bad has been blamed on G.W. Bush, even when it had nothing to do with him. I guess the only bright side to this election will be that Democrats will not be able to blame a single thing on the Republicans!! They will finally have to take responsibility for their mistakes.

Am I the only one disturbed by the idea that our nation has elected a president who refuses to pledge his allegiance to the U.S. flag?
In what nation's allegiance IS he pledged?
I predict, in less than 2 years, a single cry will rise up from our nation, "Oh my God, what have we done?"

The mood in the rest of the Free World? Jubilant.
Now that the campaigns are over, folks like Cenafan and Cindy will have plenty of time to, you know, research the actual facts behind the lies and smears served up as red meat by conspiracy theorists and fanatic conservatives.
That is, if they have the courage to do so.
