« Obama becomes President Elect | Main | When getting home is a problem. »

November 05, 2008

The Day After...

Barack Obama. President Elect.

Sen. John Cornyn keeps his seat.

Harris County Judge Ed Emmett keeps his seat.

Upstart politician Michael Skelly loses.

Most Harris County judges lost.

First Hispanic Harris County Sheriff.

Oh, and that runoff... Chris Bell vs. Joan Huffman!

So, what's next:

Will Rick Noriega run for Houston Mayor?

Is Bill King definitely not running for Mayor?

Who's going to replace Garcia at the council table?

Will Speaker Tom Craddick, keep his speaker seat?

So, can we start the Texas Gov. campaign yet?  The media needs more ad buys.
