Early voting kicks off today!

Early voting kicked off today, and most of the candidates were gathered at the West Gray Multi Service Center. It is traditionally the busiest early voting location. Mayoral candidate Annise Parker was the first major candidate to take advantage of early voting, showing up at 9 this morning. Next up, Gene Locke was expected around 11:15.

Besides the Mayoral hopefuls, I saw a handful of other candidates. Council candidates Stephen Costello, Karen Derr, and Davita Daniels were among some who greated voters.

Those who weren't there got plenty of signage around the area. In my unscientific survey, it appears that candidates Pam Holm and Jack Christie had the most signs.

Early voting kicks off today!
